Sustainability

Looking to the future

Environmental

We strive to minimize the environmental impact of our operations and invest in solutions that reduce energy and water consumption in our plants. We follow international EDGE standards and currently have nine plants with EDGE Advanced certification and one with EDGE Zero Carbon certification. We were the first company in this industry in the world to receive this certification.

Social

It is our commitment to take care of our people and the community around us by participating in our community development programs. We have started collaborating with food banks in the region in order to be more closely connected to our purpose of combating food waste.

Governance

In addition to having well-defined governance structures, with a board of directors and an executive board, and a careful financial management model, we also have a robust compliance program, with a presence in the 11 countries in which we operate.
